OUR OBJECTIVES

Catering to the railroad modeler, we share our discount with you. This means a 20% discount on most products from Walthers and Digitrax. It's 15% on most Lionel or Broadway Limited. We love kids and in many ways are kids. But we are also professionals in the art and science of modeling. We like challenges too. In these pages you will find all of these things. If you don't know where to start, start with the story pages. In it, you will find stories that will tickle your interest and imagination.

Check out our calendar to see us in action or check out our special offers and prices. You will find them competitive in some areas and not so competitive in others but this is reality...so...just relax. I guarantee that whatever you buy from us, you will always get great value.

By the way, there is some learning going on here on my part so, please bear with (but report) any problems with the site. I will be working night and day to clean them up.

Directions: (TIP: Follow the Train Buddy™ signs from the entrance ) Sign is right behind the mailbox on the post. Numbers "1200" are down the post and are hard to see from a distance or at night.

On rare occasions the shop can be closed during regular business hours but only for 10 to 20 minutes. This may happen when we need to do shipping chores from 3:20 to 3:40PM on weekdays and none of the regular staff are available to cover the counter chores. And we are closed on a few weekends when we display at a regional train show. (see Calendar)

From South/Raleigh: North on US-1 (Capital Blvd) under NC 98 bypass then over NC 98 (Durham Rd) two lights. Turn left (West) onto Jenkins Rd. See below for rest.

From West/Durham: East on NC-98 to US-1 (Capital Blvd). Left up ramp (North). Two lights. Left (west) onto Jenkins Rd. See below for rest.

From North/Henderson: South on US-1 (Capital Blvd). After passing Wake Forest Country club on the right, turn right (West) at the next light (Jenkins Rd). See below for rest.

From East/Louisburg/Rocky Mount: West on NC-98 to US-1 (Capital Blvd). Right up ramp (North). Two lights. Left (West) onto Jenkins Rd.

The Rest: First driveway on the right past bank (State Employee's Credit Union, SECU). See and follow black fence immediately on your right. Right (North) at gate. Up the winding drive to the barn/shop/warehouse and park in circular driveway.

If you are coming from West, East or South and you see the Wake Forest Country Club on your left then turn around, you just missed the turn. If you are looking for the "Jenkins Rd" sign, it is on your left (sign is currently in the median strip in front of you if you are in the left turn lane. The sign has been hit several times and currently lies damaged in the median.). The sign on the right at the light says "Stadium Drive". This is the same road. See the map.

Safety note: If you should happen to wander by on an off day or time and the white picket gate is closed, then the guard dog "Samurai Warrior" is probably on duty. For your safety, please do not try to pet or challenge him. He knows his job and does it well.
