Search help: MOST IMPORTANT: LESS IS MORE!! Don't try to put two words in the description. Unless they just happen to be together it will not work. Use just one word. Then, if that is too many entries to search, try the other word. Also, the gauge. HO is just "H". Sorry but in order to simplify this, we get a feed from Walther's database and they just use "H" instead of "HO". There are over 113,000 items in this database. You must be patient since it is looking everything up by searching every record for four pieces of information. If you know the number then use the "Code/Item ID" search only. Note, it can be just part of a number. For a successful search put any part of the information that you are looking for into the text entry boxes. An empty box means that it will select everything from that category. Typical problems are encountered when "descriptions" are not very descriptive. For example, if you were looking for Kadee freight cars, you might put "Kadee" in the Manufacturer box and "freight" in the description box. Kadee describes most of their box cars by "PS-1" the particular type of box car that they make. Note that even the word "box" in the description is not present. Since each of these boxes are "Anded" together to do the search the other boxes must be blank in order to find a specific item number (unless you just happen to get lucky). |
