Had to cut the frame to mount.
Notice the nut just behind the camera. Had to rebuild the truck to accomodate this arrangement. Would have interfered with the camera.
Used RTV (Permatex) for mounting. Messy but does the job.
Just the right height to show through the bottom nose light.
Plenty of space in the "tank" portion of the frame.
Look close. Starting to form the baffle for the speaker.
Capacitor and wires soldered on. Holes in front of the baffle.
Added DCC/BEC battery eliminator, sound system and camera...whew!
Not much room here. I've seen tighter installations but not many.
See the black line on the cab internals? Cut here to allow for the camera.
Almost there. Still need to cut out the floor of the cab interior to make room for the power connector to the camera.
This is it before I closed the cab. Neat. Note the antenna lies horizontal to the cab. The receiving antenna should also be mounted horizontally to optimize reception.
